Team - Elfin Saffer
Elfin grew up in Santa Cruz, surfing competitively and training with an Olympic athlete who worked them hard. He got burnt out quickly on contests but remained sponsored and traveled thru Europe surfing after high school. About 5 years ago he got into Spartan races with a few of his employees at O'Neill and his son. He is fully addicted to racing, training people to race, and has a team of about 15 people who all race under the team name 'Jack O'Neill'. "We can't forget where we come from, I have so much love and respect to the legend Jack O'Neill it seemed only fitting to race in his name."
